The public interfaces are read-only. They return current source headlines and always retain the original publisher URL. The service does not offer full article text.
Global RSS is available at /feed.xml and JSON Feed at /feed.json. Each topic feed is available at /hub/{topic}/feed.xml. Request text/markdown in the Accept header to receive a Markdown mirror; the response varies by Accept.
The JSON API is GET /api/v1/stories?topic=&source=&since=&limit=. It returns stable story IDs, source name and URL, original story URL, published and fetched times, topic, cluster ID, a maximum 200-character excerpt, and an optional illustrative image credit. Requests use open CORS, ETag, Last-Modified, conditional GET, and a best-effort per-process limit of 120 requests per minute.
OpenAPI is available at /api/v1/openapi.json. There is no write endpoint. The API can be used without a key, and it only includes recently published, recently fetched stories.
